St. Paul is Tournament Runnerup to Central Christian

St. Paul gave Central Christian an early 6-0 lead and could never quite catch up in the Championship game. After the first inning St. Paul played Central Christian even, each scoring 5 runs in innings 2 thru 5 for an 11-5 Central lead. Central added 3 more in the 6th and 4 more in the top of the 7th innings while St. Paul could only counter with one in each inning for an 18-7 loss. Congratulations to Central Christian.

St. Paul was led by Sean Behm with 3 hits in 3 at bats and Allen McKillips with 3 hits in 4 at bats. Sean collected the only extra base hit with a double while Dan Fiese and Eric Steuer each drove in two runs a piece. Andy Peterson score 3 runs to lead the plate crossers.

St. Paul ended a great season as they were 8-6 in league play and 2-1 in the tournament. To celebrate the team enjoyed a pizza party after the last game.
